BAYOU CITY LOBOS

Bayou City Lobos is a youth soccer organization dedicated to creating the ultimate soccer experience. At BCL we care deeply about developing each player’s character and leadership skills so they may reach their full potential – on and off the field. We encourage our athletes to play multiple sports, creating the opportunity for a flexible and competitive training environment. 

Mira Mupier

Born in D.R. Congo, Mira grew up in Houston, TX. He graduated from Langham Creek High School, where is still the 3rd All-time leading scorer. Mira played select soccer for the Houston Texans Soccer club, where he won back-to-back national championships in 2001 and 2002. In college, Mira played for 4 years at North Carolina at Charlotte NCAA D- I, where he finished in the top 5 All time in scoring leader. Professionally, Mira has experience spans several continents. Out of college, he played for the Pittsburgh River hounds (USL,) and D.C. United (MLS).


He later played for Aguila FC in El Salvador and finished his career in Denmark, where he played for Blokhus FC (Danish second division).


After playing professionally, Mira took his talent and passion for the game into coaching. He is a former assistant coach at San Jacinto College NJCAA D-1, Aalborg BK Denmark u17 head coach, u23 assistant coach, Hobro BK Denmark u17 head coach, Hobro BK Denmark u10-13 elite talent trainer as well as former Albion Hurricanes staff coach. Mira has vast experience in the club world as a coach and athlete. He has a large passion for developing young players and helping them reach their potential.
Additional, Mira maintains a Union of European Association Football (UEFA) “B” License in Aalborg, Denmark. Mira frequently visits Denmark with his two children. Mira is also fluent in French and Danish.

Priscilla Blossom

Priscilla Blossom has an immense love for the game of futbol. With a Brazilian family, the love for the game is in her blood and has been passed down to her young boys. Priscilla was born and raised in Houston, TX where she graduated from Langham Creek High School. She played soccer in high school, where her and Mira became friends over their shared passion for the game. After college, she spent 10 years playing women’s and co-ed soccer through the Houston Women’s Soccer Association in her spare time. She is an oil and gas professional with experience in finance, business development and marketing. After 17 years in the energy industry, she has moved to dedicate most of her time to volunteer for Lobos. Priscilla’s husband, Patrick Blossom, is equally involved with Bayou City Lobos, stepping in wherever help is needed. Both of her children play for the boys’ club team and are at the heart of her commitment to this organization.

She holds a BA in Business, BA in Political Science from Houston Christian University, and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. She is also the former chair of Discover Fitness Foundation, a nonprofit organization bringing gymnastics to children with disabilities.

Bryce McAlister

Bryce will be entering his second year with the Bayou City Lobos. Bryce played club soccer for the Houston Texans SC Academy U18, where he was a part of helping the club win the 2017 Development Academy National Championship.

After graduating high school, he continued his playing career in college at the University of Charleston, West Virginia, where he contributed to a number one national ranking and an NCAA regional and national championship.

Following his collegiate playing career, he played in USL2 for Coach Mira while working on finishing his degree in finance at the University of Houston.
